OVERVIEW

The Eighth Experts Meeting of Task 42 /Annex 24 (4224) "Compact Thermal Energy Storage Material Development and System Integration", which is a joint activity of the Solar Heating and Cooling and the Energy Conservation through Energy Storage Implementing Agreement of the IEA will be held in Petten, The Netherlands and hosted by The Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands (ECN).

ALKMAAR CITY TOUR

The general tour of Alkmaar is ideal for people who don’t know the city and now want to experience a piece of history of Alkmaar. This tour in Alkmaar is airy and offers interesting parts for a wide audience. During this guided tour through the beautiful city of Alkmaar, the guide will show you all different kind of sights. Alkmaar is well known because of the cheese market, but also because of the many small canals and monuments.

The guide will tell you nice stories about the history and present of this town. You will visit the famous cheese market square, the old town with its beautiful small specialty shops, but also you will cross the main shopping streets, stroll along the canals and even see a windmill (from the outside) that is centrally situated in the heart of the downtown!

MEETING INFORMATION

PARTICIPATION FEE FOR EXPORT MEETING

Participation fee is € 80, covering the lunches, coffee breaks, and bus transfer between ECN and the hotels.  Please pay the fee by cash at the registration desk on the 1st day of the meeting.  We are sorry, but we cannot accept credit cards or wire transfer.  Thank you for your understanding.
